Coconut Oil Processing

The production of coconut oil involves a series of processes, from pretreatment and pressing to refining. The by-product, known as pressed coconut cake, serves as a nutritious feed for animals. For effective pressing, the moisture content of dried coconut must be maintained between 7%-10%.

Huatai facilities are equipped to handle a range of production capacities, offering coconut oil processors with a throughput of 30-1000 TPD and refiners capable of processing 1-600 TPD. Additionally, we utilize solvent extraction units for crude coconut oil to enhance oil yield, reducing the residual oil in the cake to below 0.8%.

The refining process for coconut oil can be custom to meet specific production needs and includes:

  1. Batch Refining: Suitable for smaller operations, handling 1-20 TPD.
  2. Semi-continuous Refining: Designed for medium-scale production, accommodating 20-50 TPD.
  3. Fully Continuous Refining: Ideal for large-scale processing, with a capacity of 50-600 TPD.

Huatai can design and configure the Copra oil refining plant to align with your unique production requirements.
